The long-time big-leaguer and potential Hall of Famer made 30 appearances in 2023, 27 of which were starts, but scuffled to a 5.06 ERA, his worst mark since a 5.80 ERA as a sophomore in 2005. The right-hander owns a career 3.49 ERA in 20 MLB seasons between the Royals, Brewers, Dodgers, D-backs, and Astros.
