Michael Morse goes 0-for-3 in Pirates win
by Caleb Luketic | Sat, Aug 8th 1:30pm EDT
The Pittsburgh Pirates were able to beat the Los Angeles Dodgers in extra innings off of the bat of Pedro Alvarez. Gerrit Cole also pitched a solid six innings to keep the Pirates in the game.
Fantasy Impact:
Michael Morse went 0-for-3 on Friday night against the Dodgers. Morse is only batting .212 on the season, which is one of the lowest on the team. Morse will be a platoon guy with Travis Ishikawa and Pedro Alvarez. Whoever is playing best will get the starts at first base, so Morse is a valid fantasy option.
