Despite coming off a strong start against the Padres, Wainwright will not make his next start. It has been a very tough overall season for the veteran. The Cardinals have not announced who will start in his place on Sunday. It will be Drew Rom making his third career start on Saturday, so the Cardinals may start giving some younger pitchers more starts down the final stretch of the regular season.
