Daniel Murphy has officially retired, per the Angles’ Triple-A affiliate, the Salt Lake Bees. (Salt Lake Bees on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Murphy was in the Angles’ organization attempting to work his way back to the major leagues, after last playing with the Rockies in 2020. The veteran infielder’s career numbers close at a .296 average, 138 home runs, and 735 RBI in 1452 career games with the Mets, Nationals, Cubs, and Rockies.
