The Detroit Tigers have claimed relief pitcher Andrew Vasquez off waivers from the Philadelphia Phillies. (Tigers PR on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Phillies designated Vasquez when they acquired Michael Lorenzen on Tuesday despite him throwing a 2.27 ERA in 30 outings this season. However, it appears the left-hander could see some regression with Detroit as he also sports a 4.31 FIP and 4.29 SIERA in 39 2/3 innings pitched.
