Gonzalez went 0-for-23 with a walk and a run scored before being replaced in the outfield by Miles Straw in Sunday's series finale against the White Sox but will start a series with the Astros on the bench. The young outfielder has had a tough go at the MLB level this season, hitting just .200 with one homer across 83 plate appearances on the season.
