Marisnick was designated for assignment by the Tigers prior to the All-Star break and the 32-year-old became a free agent after declining an assignment to Triple-A. Marisnick played as advertised the Tigers, offering some power and speed with two homers, three doubles, two triples, and two stolen bases in 75 plate appearances while playing elite defense in center field.
