Tyler Soderstrom slated to make big-league debut Friday

Fantasy Impact:
The 21-year-old catcher was the A's first-round pick in the 2020 MLB Draft and will get a chance to make good on that billing in the season's second half. He has displayed plenty of power in the minors, hitting 61 home runs, 56 doubles, eight triples, and an .858 OPS across 260 minor-league contests. He and Shea Langeliers should split time behind the plate while Soderstrom can also play first base, offering some defensive versatility in the process.
