The Texas Rangers placed Jose Leclerc on the 15-day IL Saturday with a right ankle sprain. (Texas Rangers PR on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Leclerc was in the mix for save chances early in the season, but Will Smith has completely taken over that role recently. Nonetheless, Leclerc has still found himself working in key situations out of the Rangers bullpen. He is without a timetable to return. The Rangers recalled Yerry Rodríguez from Triple-A Round Rock as the corresponding move.
