Trevor Rosenthal will undergo UCL surgery

Fantasy Impact:
It's equivalent to the second Tommy John surgery of Rosenthal's career (2017). It's just the latest setback of many for Rosenthal as he attempts to return to a big league mound. Signed to a minor-league deal late in spring training, the 33-year-old was deemed not ready to begin the season and will now miss all of the 2023 campaign and most of next season as well. He hasn't pitched since tossing a 1.90 ERA between the Royals and Padres in the 2020 season.
