Rays reliever Pete Fairbanks tossed a scoreless inning in a start for the Rays' Rookie-level Florida Complex League on Monday. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
The flame-thrower struck out a pair in the outing while Rays skipper Kevin Cash stated the outing went "really, really well" while adding there is a "good chance" Fairbanks re-joins the big club on their current trip through Oakland and San Diego. The right-hander owns a tidy 1.54 ERA in 13 appearances but his 4.13 SIERA suggests regression on the horizon.
