Red Sox reliever Richard Bleier is not reacting well to treatment for his left shoulder inflammation. (MLB.com)

Manager Alex Cora relayed the news on June 10 while Bleier has been playing catch since May 30. The 36-year-old struggled to a 5.85 ERA across 19 appearances before hitting the shelf on May 22.
