Fantasy Impact:
Designate for assignment last week, Aguilar has officially been released after having not been claimed by another club. The veteran scuffled to a .221 average with five homers and a .666 OPS across 115 trips to the plate for the season. The emergence of Ryan Noda and the return of Seth Brown from the IL pushed the 32-year-old to the outside looking in as he looks to latch on with a new club, likely in a platoon role moving forward.
