It took until age 50 but the legendary Bartolo Colon is retiring from Major League Baseball. The 2005 AL Cy Young winner last pitched in the big leagues in 2018 and will hang 'em up with a 4.12 career ERA and 247 wins across 565 appearances between the then-Indians, Expos, White Sox, Angels, Red Sox, White Sox, Yankees, A's, Mets, Braves, Twins, and Rangers. The Mets will hold an official retirement ceremony for Colon on August 26 prior to a contest with the Angels.
