Josh Rutledge traded to Boston for Shane Victorino

The Angels have announced that they have received veteran outfielder Shane Victorino and cash considerations in a trade with the Red Sox for utility infielder Josh Rutledge. The 34-year-old Victorino has suffered through an injury-plagued season and has been unproductive over the last two years. Rutledge has yet to play for the Angels this year after playing for Colorado the past three seasons. (The Angels on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
For the Angels this adds veteran depth to their outfield while giving up a infielder that was not even playing for the team. Victorino when healthy can contribute as a very productive bench player and could be utilized heavily once playoffs come around.
