Anibal Sanchez appears to announce retirement

Veteran pitcher Anibal Sanchez has seemingly retired as per a post on his personal Instagram account. (Britt Ghiroli on Twitter)

Sanchez enjoyed a lengthy big-league career that included 364 career appearances, 341 of which came as a starter. He hangs 'em up with a career 4.06 ERA across stints with the Marlins, Tigers, Braves, and Nationals. He won an AL ERA title with the 2013 Tigers when he worked to a 2.57 ERA in 29 starts, finishing fourth in Cy Young voting in the process.
