Andrew Nardi records save in Marlins' 5-4 Victory over Cubs
by Chris Schommer | Marlins Correspondent | Mon, May 8th 8:48am EDT
Andrew Nardi continued his solid season, retiring the Cubs in order in the ninth inning to secure his first save of the year.
Fantasy Impact:
The left-hander needed just 11 pitches to finish off the Cubs, striking out one batter in the process. Nardi's 4.60 ERA on the season is a bit high, but his 10.3 K/9 and 3.60 strikeout-to-walk ratio suggest he has the stuff to be a reliable late-inning option for the Marlins.
