by Owen Klukas | Blue Jays Correspondent | Sat, May 6th 1:18am EDT
Chris Bassitt (4-2) allowed zero runs on four hits over seven innings Friday versus the Pirates, earning the win in the 4-0 victory. The right-hander struck out five and yielded four walks in the 105-pitch outing.
Fantasy Impact:
Bassitt was excellent on Friday throwing 19 first-pitch strikes on 26 batters faced. The righty is tied for the second most quality starts in the majors this season. He has lasted at least six innings in five of his last six starts. Reliable is a great word to describe the 34-year-old. The Toledo native is scheduled to start versus the Braves on Friday in Toronto.
