Peyton Battenfield allowed two runs on two hits over seven innings in a 2-0 loss to the Twins on Friday. He struck out seven and walked none while taking the loss.
Fantasy Impact:
Battenfield made just one mistake in the outing, a two-run homer to Max Kepler in the sixth inning. The rookie hurler has looked good in his limited time with the Guardians, posting a 0-3 record, 4.07 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, and 21 strikeouts in 24 1/3 innings of work. His next start will be on Wednesday against the Tigers.
