Dylan Dodd secures win on Thursday

by Devon Bruce | Braves Correspondent | Thu, May 4th 11:20pm EDT

Dylan Dodd pitched six innings allowing three earned runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out one during Atlanta's win over Miami on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact:

Jorge Soler was the sole offence for the Marlins, clapping a two-run home run off of Dodd and then a two-run double in the fifth. Otherwise, Dodd was solid enough to secure the win for the Braves. He'll likely stick in the rotation while Kyle Wright is on the injured list and could provide some deep league value. On the season he is 2-1 with a 6.46 ERA and 1.83 WHIP with seven strikeouts through 15 1/3 innings. His next turn up is against the Red Sox on Wednesday.
