Jack Flaherty (hand) exits start early Thursday
by Andy Zimmerman | Thu, May 4th 2:30pm EDT
Jack Flaherty left Thursday's start early following a comebacker that connected with his non-throwing hand Thursday afternoon against the Angels, per Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The righty was charged with 10 earned on nine hits and a walk in 2 1/3 innings.
Fantasy Impact:
A grounder off the 27-year-old's glove hand ended his day early, though he was able to walk off without any assistance. Unfortunately for Flaherty, today is one to forgot as 10 runs have been crossed home under his name, following a nine hit, two inning, 74 pitch outing Thursday. More information will be available once the game concludes.
