Vince Velasquez (elbow) leaves start early Thursday in Tampa Bay

Vince Velasquez left Thursday afternoon's game early due to elbow discomfort per Jason Mackey of PGSportsNow. Before noticeably rubbing his elbow and retiring the side in the third, Velasquez allowed one run via a homer, two hits, a walk and struck out two in three innings prior to being removed. Fantasy Impact:
Velasquez was taken out of Thursday's game against the Rays after 54 pitches due to visible elbow irritation. Whether the move was made out of precaution or due to a more severe circumstance is yet to be known. An update will be present once test results are verified.
