To little surprise, the lefty-swinging Hosmer will start on the bench against Nationals left-hander Patrick Corbin while Trey Mancini takes over at first base. Hosmer has predominantly started against righties this season and is hitting just .250 with two homers and a .657 OPS across 85 trips to the plate for the season.
