Vince Velasquez continues to deal, earns fourth win of year Saturday

Vince Velasquez allowed no runs on five hits and no walks while striking out five across six innings during Saturday's 16-1 win in Game 2 of the doubleheader against the Nationals.
Fantasy Impact:
Velasquez needed just one run of support to earn his fourth win of 2023 but instead was given 16 as the 30-year-old lowered his ERA to 3.08. The righty has not allowed a run in his past 13 innings pitched, with three of his past four starts going six strong with no runs allowed. Velasquez is currently scheduled to face Toronto at home next week.
