Nelson Velasquez goes yard for second straight game in loss

Nelson Velasquez finished 1-for-4, blasting a solo home run as the Cubs fell to the Marlins 3-2 on Friday.
Fantasy Impact:
Velasquez went deep for the second time in as many days, sending a third inning Jesus Luzardo offering deep into the left field bleachers. The 24-year-old sophomore is making a case to remain in the Cubs' lineup regularly, as he now holds a stellar .412/.500/1.059 slash line with three homers through 17 at-bats. He is definitely a guy to keep an eye on in deeper fantasy leagues going forward.
