Jose Quijada imploded on the mound in relief for the Angels Saturday night, allowing five runs on two hits while also walking two in just 2/3 of an inning to blow the save chance and record the loss in an 11-8 defeat to the Royals.
Fantasy Impact:
Quijada had been automatic on the mound in relief for the Angels prior to Saturday night's outing, holding opponents scoreless in each of his previous eight relief appearances for the club. Fantasy managers will want to practice patience in hopes that Saturday night was an aberration for the left-hander, posting a 0.92 WHIP with eight strikeouts and four saves in nine relief appearances so far this season.
