Madison Bumgarner was shelled on the mound for the Diamondbacks Wednesday, allowing seven runs on seven hits while also walking four and striking out two in just three innings in a 14-5 loss to the Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact:
Bumgarner has been brutal on the mound to begin the season for the Diamondbacks, allowing at least five runs in three of his first four starts for the club. The veteran left-hander offers fantasy managers little reason to occupy a roster spot a this point, posting a 10.26 ERA with just 10 strikeouts in four starts (0-3) on the mound so far this season.
