Madison Bumgarner struggled on the mound for the Diamondbacks Friday night, allowing five runs on nine hits while also walking one and striking out one over five innings in a 5-1 loss to the Marlins.
Fantasy Impact:
Bumgarner has been unreliable on the mound to begin the season for the Diamondbacks, allowing at least five runs in two of three starts to begin the season. Fantasy managers can leave the 33-year-old off rosters in most formats, carrying a dismal 7.90 ERA and 2.12 WHIP in 13 2/3 innings (three starts) on the mound so far this season.
