Luis Cessa pitched 3 2/3 innings, allowing five earned runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out one during Cincinnati's loss to Atlanta on Tuesday.

Cessa pitched well in his first start of the season but had a rough start against the Braves, victimized by a Matt Olson home run in the first inning and an Ozzie Albies homer in the fourth. On the season he is 0-1 with a 7.00 ERA and 1.78 WHIP with three strikeouts over nine innings of work. His next scheduled start is against the Phillies on Sunday.
