Loaisiga’s move to the IL is retroactive to April 6th. According to Yankees’ manager Aaron Boone, the 28-year-old reliever will not throw for a few weeks. Depending on how much time Loaisiga misses, he is likely going to need a rehab assignment before returning to the Yankees’ bullpen.
