Anthony Volpe went 2-for-4 with two singles, one run scored, and a stolen base in New York’s 7-5 loss to San Francisco.
Fantasy Impact:
Volpe collected his first Major League hit in the 2nd inning off of San Francisco’s Alex Cobb. He promptly stole his second base in two games. He would go on to single again in the 9th and scored his first career run on an Aaron Judge single. Volpe is slashing .333/.429/.333 thru his first two career games and fantasy managers have to love the speedsters’ two steals already.
