Lucas Gilbreath will undergo Tommy John surgery and miss the entire 2023 season for the Colorado Rockies. (Danielle Allentuck on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Gilbreath was coming off of a decent 2022 season with the Rockies, posting a 1.46 WHIP and 112 ERA+ with 49 strikeouts in 47 relief appearances for the club. Brad Hand, whom was recently signed by the club, should fill the left-handed relief void created at least in the near term.
