Detroit Tigers reliever Miguel Diaz tossed a scoreless inning Sunday versus the Minnesota Twins.

Sunday marked the third straight scoreless outing for Diaz who has yet to allow an earned run this spring. The hard-throwing right-hander has five strikeouts against just a single walk in his three frames this spring. The 28-year-old owns a 5.37 ERA in 75 career appearances but pitched to a 3.64 ERA across 25 appearances with the Padres in 2021 before allowing just one earned run in 3 2/3 innings with the Tigers last season.
