Seth Lugo to work as a starter in 2023

Fantasy Impact:
Despite thriving as a full-time reliever over the last two seasons with the Mets, Lugo will open the 2023 season as a starter in a six-man Padres rotation. Lugo has made just seven starts over the last four seasons, all coming in the 2020 campaign when he posted an ugly 6.15 ERA as a starter. Nonetheless, the plan is for the Padres to go with six starters to open the season with the idea of going back to five should performance falter.
