Coonrod got into just 12 games with the Phillies in 2022 and was rocked for a 7.82 ERA across 12 2/3 innings of work. However, he fared much better across 42 appearances in the 2021 season, posting a solid 4.04 ERA/3.71 FIP with two saves across 42 1/2 innings pitched. The 30-year-old Coonrod will look to crack a Mets bullpen that ranked 10th with a 3.55 ERA a season ago.
