Chad Pinder signs minor-league deal with Reds

The minor-league pact comes with an invite to big-league camp. In parts of seven seasons with the Oakland A's, Pinder hit 62 homers and owns a lifetime .242 average and .711 OPS across 553 career appearances. In 2022, Pinder hit 12 homers but also had an expected home run total of 18 at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. The versatile veteran could be a surprising source of power in his new digs should he see consistent playing time on the rebuilding Reds.
