Taylor Jordan recalled from Triple-A
by Rose Ingberman | Sun, Jul 5th 3:14pm EDT
The Nationals have recalled RHP Taylor Jordan from Triple-A Syracuse to take the spot of Stephen Strasburg, who was placed on the DL with a left oblique strain. (Nationals via Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Nationals may not need Jordan to start until after the All-Star break, so he may come out of the bullpen if long relief is needed. In his previous major-league stint this season, the righty went 0-2, allowing 16 hits and 10 earned runs in 10.1 innings of work. At Syracuse he was 2-4 with a 2.97 ERA in 11 starts (1.084 WHIP).
