Adrian Martinez pitched 4 2/3 innings on Wednesday night, striking out four, and giving up five hits for three earned runs as he took the loss for the A's in their 4-1 game against the Angels.

Martinez has seen his ERA explode as he has given up at least three or more runs in four of his last five outings.
