Konnor Pilkington threw 5 2/3 scoreless innings in a 7-6 win over the Twins in 15 innings in Game 2 of a Saturday doubleheader. Pilkington took a no-decision while allowing one hit, striking out six, and walking one.
Fantasy Impact:
Pilkington turned in one of the best starts of his young career, notching 15 swinging strikes on just 81 pitches. The rookie hurler now has a 1-2 record, 3.88 ERA, 1.47 WHIP, and 50 strikeouts over 58 innings of work. He was added as an extra arm for the doubleheader, so he is likely headed back to Triple-A after the start.
