Spenser Watkins (4-6) allowed four earned runs on nine hits over six innings, inheriting the loss in the 5-0 defeat. The right-hander struck out zero and yielded one walk in the 74-pitch outing.

Watkins has inherited a loss in each of his last four starts while his ERA sits at 4.37 on the year. The righty produced five whiffs Sunday and generated an average pitch velocity of 86.5 and a max pitch velocity of 92.7. The 30-year-old owns a 5.32 K/9 and a 1.34 WHIP in 94 2/3 innings pitched.
