Dermis Garcia went 1-for-2 at the plate on Wednesday, hitting a solo homer, and walking once en rout to the Athletics' 5-1 loss to the Nationals.
Fantasy Impact:
Garcia hit a home run for the second straight game on Wednesday, however that puts his total to just two on the season. The Athletics' first basemen is batting .333 with an OPS of 1.012, but this should be considered lightly and with caution as he has played in just 12 games this season. For now the 24-year-old should remain on waivers but if he gets more run down the line he may be worth a look in dynasty leagues.
