Michael Pineda is set to begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Toledo on Tuesday. He completed a simulated game on August 10th. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Pineda has been out of action since late-July with right triceps tightness. In 10 starts prior to the injury, he posted a 5.27 ERA, .293 BABIP, and a 3.83 K/BB ratio. Despite a return timeline that sets him up for a return this month, fantasy managers can likely cut bait and find a better option.
