Drew VerHagen is set to have hip surgery that will end his 2022 season.

VerHagen’s disappointing first season comes to an abrupt close due to a hip injury. He pitched in 59 games, posting a 6.65 ERA, .300 OBA, a 7.48 K/9 ratio, and a 5.82 BB/9 ratio across 21 2/3 innings pitched. Fantasy managers can safely drop the 31-year-old if he was on your roster.
