Matt Wisler recovering from neck strain

Rays manager Kevin Cash received word that Matt Wisler’s neck strain is not severe and he should be able to return around the time he is eligible to come off the IL. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Wisler is eligible to be activated off the IL on August 6th and all signs point to the reliever being back around that time. The 29-year-old has pitched in 38 games, registering a 2.36 ERA, .192 OBA, and a 6.21 K/9 ratio across 42 innings pitched. Fantasy managers should look for another update from the Rays on Wisler’s status around Friday or Saturday.
