Stephen Strasburg will miss the rest of 2022

Stephen Strasburg will be shut down for the remainder of the 2022 season. He is dealing with a nerve issue, similar to the thoracic outlet injury in 2021, but will not surgery. (NYPost.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Strasburg has only taken the mound seven times for the Nationals since the start of the 2020 season. In 2022, he pitched 4 2/3 innings, allowing eight hits, two walks, and seven earned runs. No one really knows what 2023 will look like for Strasburg, but shutting him down in a lost year for the Nationals makes sense for both him and the club.
