Frankie Montas to start Thursday against the Tigers

Fantasy Impact:
Montas has not pitched since July 3rd in Seattle where he completed just one inning and was removed due to a shoulder injury. This could very well be on of his last starts in an A’s uniform with the trade deadline approaching. In 17 starts, the 29-year-old has a 3.26 ERA, .226 OBA, and a 9.31 K/9 ratio. The most important aspect of his start Thursday is remaining healthy as he will be important in the fantasy playoffs.
