Ryan Weber pitched three innings, allowing no runs on one hit and one walk while striking out one to earn the save in New York’s 14-1 win over Boston on Saturday.
Fantasy Impact:
Ryan Weber recorded the final nine outs after entering with a nine run lead. Weber had not pitched since July 2 and this was only his third appearance for New York this season. Weber has a 1.17 ERA and 0.52 WHIP with two strikeouts in 7 2/3 innings for the Yankees this season so even with some issues of late in the bullpen Weber is not fantasy relevant at the moment.
