Sean Doolittle opts for season-ending surgery

Sean Doolittle has decided to have surgery on his UCL and will miss the remainder of the season. (Jesse Dougherty on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Doolittle has been on the injured list since April 20 and has opted to undergo an internal brace procedure to repair the UCL in his left elbow. He'll miss the next five to six months and hopes to be able to pitch for the Nationals next spring.
