Tommy Romero earns win against Red Sox

Rays reliever Tommy Romero tossed a scoreless seventh inning against the Red Sox on Thursday evening. He struck out one batter, throwing a total of 10 strikes and just two balls during his outing. The right-hander earned the win as Tampa Bay ultimately defeated Boston by a score of 5-4, completing a four-game sweep.
Fantasy Impact:
Romero was recalled from Triple-A on Thursday after spending the last three-plus months in the minors. He allowed four runs through 3 2/3 MLB innings earlier in the season but provided a clutch option out of the bullpen on Thursday.
