Dillon Peters earned fifth win of season Tuesday in Miami

by Andy Zimmerman | Wed, Jul 13th 8:12am EDT

Dillon Peters allowed one run on two hits and no walks while striking out three across 2 2/3 innings during Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Marlins.

Fantasy Impact:

Peters (5-2) came on in relief following Pittsburgh using Chris Stratton as an opener, allowing a single run to cross in the third en route to his fifth win over the season. Tuesday was the lefty's first appearance in over a month after being placed on the IL with a lower back strain. His 3.81 ERA is result of a stellar April and a subpar May. Peters' return to the pitching staff allows for the Pirates to rely on another dependable arm for middle relief.
